Job summary

Pratt Whitney in Asheville, NC seeks a Machine Operator to operate production equipment, read instructions, and ensure quality and efficiency on the line. The role requires reading work orders, setting up machines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Shifts vary (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or weekend options) and training may occur on non-preferred shifts. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program/contract information, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required or eligibility to access program/contract.
• Manufacturing experience or related education/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions and setup procedures.
• Set up and operate a variety of production equipment and measuring devices.
• Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
• Maintain machines through total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and other production staff to resolve issues.
