Job summary

RTX’s Pratt & Whitney site in Asheville (US-NC) is seeking an onsite Machine Operator for a weekend night shift (Friday–Sunday, 6pm–6:30am). You will read work instructions, set up and run production equipment, and collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve machining issues.

The role requires a HS Diploma/GED, U.S. citizenship, and manufacturing experience or related certification. The team offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment for growth.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship required; access restrictions apply.
• Previous manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing certification.
• Read and interpret work instructions clearly.
• Set up and operate production equipment per instructions.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions.
• Set up and operate a variety of production equipment and measuring devices.
• Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance (TPM) on machines.
• Assist in part process development and troubleshoot machining issues.
