RTX is seeking a 2nd shift supervisor for Pratt & Whitney operations in Asheville, NC. You will provide leadership to production teams, manage daily activities, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and quality targets are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with several years of manufacturing/ops leadership experience, and U.S. citizenship for government-contract access. A shift premium applies to evening/weekend hours.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of manufacturing/operations experience OR a Master’s degree with 2+ years of manufacturing/operations experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in an operations or manufacturing setting required.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.

Aufgaben

• Provide direction to employees and lead engagement and continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform daily supervisor responsibilities and project management with support group members.
• Establish work schedules and monthly delivery plans aligned with customer needs and finances.
• Lead with an emphasis on team-building through toolbox meetings and effective communication.
• Drive improvements using the Standard Production System (SPS) and countermeasures to meet daily targets.
• Maintain safety, quality, production, and cost reduction through SPS elements.
• Ensure smooth process flow and accountability across teams.
