Job summary

Legum and Norman is hiring a General Manager for its upscale, gated HOA community in Millsboro, DE. The General Manager is an onsite role overlooking all office, administrative, and maintenance projects to include capital improvements.

The GM is the liaison among homeowners, Board, committees, management staff, and vendors. Candidates should have 2+ years HOA experience; managing a master Association with multiple sub Associations is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HOA experience required.
• Experience in managing a master Association with multiple sub Associations is highly preferred.
• CMCA and AMS certifications are highly preferred.
• Knowledge of the Association Board, General Manager, and homeowner requests interfaces.
• Customer service driven and team oriented.
• Ownership, initiative and proactive communication to improve processes and reduce expenses.

Responsibilities

• Implement Board policy and directives within the management agreement scope.
• Inspect the community and ensure maintenance and adherence to codes and rules.
• Issue violation notices and follow up on corrections.
• Meet homeowners, Board members, and vendors; respond to inquiries.
• Enter data and manage records; track documents and information.
• Create and manage budgets; review financial reports and reserves.
