Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to support FMCS for semiconductor facilities in Austin, TX. You will design and maintain HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC OA), integrate with PLCs, and ensure reliable visualization and monitoring of critical infrastructure.

The role requires 3+ years in HMI/SCADA, strong PLC knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot in mission-critical environments. Collaboration with controls engineers and operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years in HMI/SCADA or industrial automation.
• Strong HMI development and configuration experience.
• Experience with WinCC OA or similar SCADA platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain HMI/SCADA screens using WinCC OA.
• Support FMCS operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting via HMIs.
• Develop GUIs for facility equipment monitoring and control.
• Integrate HMIs with PLCs and field devices.
• Support data acquisition, trending, alarms, and reporting.
