Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Facilities Controls Engineer to support the Facilities Operations Group. You will troubleshoot and modify control programs, lead contractor scope development, and design control system improvements for reliability and efficiency.

Role requires experience with Rockwell/Siemens platforms, IT networking, and virtualization. Strong collaboration with operations and process engineers is essential to drive continuous improvements on on‑site facilities.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering field and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with facilities controls systems and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Rockwell/Siemens control systems and SCADA.
• Knowledge of IT networks, virtualization, and OT security is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for operation and maintenance of facilities controls systems.
• Lead contractors in scope development, design review, testing, and startup of new equipment.
• Design improvements to control panels and system functionality.
• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and process engineers on process improvements.
• Manage virtualized server infrastructure and OT networks; ensure OT‑IT segmentation and vulnerability assessments.
• Maintain topology diagrams, IP/VLAN plans, and documentation.
