Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa seeks an Integration and Test Engineer with a strong software focus to join the Maneuver Dominance team to help develop and scale HITL capabilities. This role emphasizes software infrastructure, test framework, automation, and tooling for HITL systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace/Aeronautics Engineering, or similar.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and test tooling such as logging, diagnostics, and debug utilities.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C++ and experience with software/hardware interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the test framework and software infrastructure bridging SITL to HITL testing.
• Develop logging infrastructure and log-processing tooling.
• Develop diagnostics and telemetry debugging capabilities for visibility and troubleshooting.
• Develop fault-injection capabilities for controlled test scenarios.
• Build automated tests for system behavior, fault detection, recovery, and degradation.
• Develop configuration management tools for reproducible HITL configurations.
• Automate HITL health checks, setup, deployment, and test execution.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for regression testing.
• Establish software and testing best practices for HITL systems.
• Support hardware integration and testing with compute, networking, sensors, and components.
• Troubleshoot real-time simulation issues, timing constraints, and model fidelity.
