Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Integration and Test Engineer with a strong software focus to join the Maneuver Dominance team at the Costa Mesa HQ. The role develops and scales HITL capabilities, bridging software and hardware in a fast-paced environment.

You will work at the intersection of simulation, hardware integration, and system-level testing to enable reliable HITL operations and scalable testing frameworks. A background in Python/C++, CI/CD, and HIL/HITL is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/EE/aerospace or equivalent.
• Ownership of software infrastructure from development to deployment, testing, and maintenance.
• Experience building automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and test tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test framework and software infrastructure bridging SITL to HITL.
• Develop logging infrastructure and log-processing tooling for HITL testing.
• Develop diagnostics and telemetry for visibility and troubleshooting.
• Develop fault-injection capabilities for testing.
• Build automated tests to evaluate system behavior and recovery.
• Develop configuration management tracking tools for HITL configurations.
• Automate HITL health checks, setup, deployment, and test execution.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for regression testing.
• Establish software and testing best practices for HITL systems.
• Support setup and integration of HITL hardware, compute, networking, sensors.
• Troubleshoot real-time simulation issues during HITL operations.
• Collaborate with software, systems, simulation, and hardware engineers.
• Maintain safety-minded operations in prototype environments.
