Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 12 college credits in biology or chemistry.
• Lab experience including handling open containers of blood and body fluids.
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Assist lab staff with day-to-day operations in the Histology lab.
• Support specimen handling, processing, and inventory management.
• Assist in morgue receipt, record keeping, and hand-offs.
• Maintain supplies and storage of lab materials per policy.
• Prepare samples for analysis (labeling, centrifuging, transport).
• Assist with shipping of specimens to other sites and blood product inventory.
