Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred
• Must have at least three years of laboratory research or clinical experience
• Histology experience desirable; IHC and digital imaging desirable but not required
• Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory science and high-complexity testing per CLIA
• Excellent English communication and data management skills
• Proficiency with MS Excel and database usage (MS Access preferred)
• Ability to train and supervise students and visiting researchers

Responsibilities

• Learn to digitize slides using Leica AT2 and Versa Imaging System
• Maintain equipment, reagents, and supplies; perform high- and moderate-complexity tests
• Interpret test results and report findings to the Manager
• Develop new tests and testing specialties in collaboration with physicians
• Provide training and supervision to students and visiting researchers
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of specimens
