Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, embed, cut, coverslip, stain and mount tissue specimens for evaluation.
• Perform IHC staining and quality control on slides.
• Accession specimens for Pathology and Cytology in the computer.
• Communicate specimen issues with providers.
• Train new staff in assigned area.
• Maintain equipment and records; keep work area clean and safe.
• Dispose of specimens and hazardous chemicals properly.
