VRC Companies, LLC is seeking an ROI Specialist I to handle Release of Information requests within the VitalChart department. The role emphasizes privacy, accuracy, and timely delivery of medical records to healthcare clients.

The position requires attention to detail, HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency with ROI systems. On-site work with potential cross-training and collaboration with ROI leadership is involved.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in handling records.
• Prior experience with ROI fulfillment or medical records requests.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for client interactions.
• Ability to maintain productivity and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of HIPAA and medical records handling.
• Experience with EHR/EMR platforms and Windows/Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Process ROI requests for Continuing Care and Disability Determination Services.
• Verify requests and patient authorizations for HIPAA compliance.
• Log, classify, and track requests in ROI software with proper documentation.
• Retrieve and upload records from electronic or physical repositories.
• Perform quality checks to prevent PHI breaches and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Coordinate with ROI Manager or Team Leader and escalate issues as needed.
