Job summary

MRO is seeking an ROI Specialist to support ROI requests at client sites across the United States. You will determine records to release, review requester information per HIPAA, and log data into the ROI On-Line system, while interacting with customers by phone and in person as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year data entry experience; proficient with computers and internet.
• Experience with Release of Information in healthcare is a plus.
• Knowledge of HIPAA preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• Good verbal communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review ROI requests and determine records to release per HIPAA guidelines.
• Answer ROI related calls and assist walk-in customers.
• Log and process requests in ROI On-Line database.
• Scan records into ROI On-Line database.
• Fax information to physician offices as needed.
• Handle cash payments at sites where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with site policies.
• Demonstrate proficiency with computer applications and internet.
