Job summary

Hugh Chatham Health, Inc. seeks a Full-time Release of Information Clerk in Charlotte, NC. The role requires handling patient records with HIPAA compliance, validating authorizations, and logging requests in the information system. OnBase and EPIC experience is preferred.

You will work Sunday–Thursday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, in an environment focused on accuracy, security, and prompt service for patient data requests.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong ethical handling of confidential information and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to locate PHI in records and work with electronic health information systems.

Responsibilities

• Protect patients’ privacy by staying current with HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Receive and validate release requests, ensuring compliant authorization.
• Log requests in the release of information system and scan approvals into the system.
