Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management required.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Health Information Management with emphasis on training, quality, and record management.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in Health Information Management required, acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the HIM/Medical Records department.
• Ensure medical records are processed per bylaws, regulations, and standards.
• Maintain release of information thresholds per guidelines and state/federal regs.
• Monitor documentation quality and productivity targets (e.g., >95%).
• Prepare and present incomplete records lists to committees for action.
