Job summary

Saint Francis Healthcare System is seeking an HIM Manager to plan, direct, and oversee the daily operations of the Health Information Management Department. The role ensures the integrity, confidentiality, regulatory compliance, and proper management of health information systems and medical records across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Health Information Management experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• RHIA, RHIT, CHPS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and oversee daily operations of the Health Information Management Department.
• Ensure integrity, availability, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance of health information systems and records.
• Lead document management, release of information, chart completion, and record retention.
• Ensure privacy compliance, data integrity, and EHR functionality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, compliance, revenue cycle, legal, IT, and other leaders.
