CDM Smith is seeking a Task Leader for highway design to join the New England Transportation team. The role offers relocation/remote options within the New England region, and requires leading design projects, mentoring junior staff, and delivering technically excellent solutions.

You will design criteria, alignments, plans, and cost estimates, while ensuring regulatory compliance and client satisfaction across multiple offices (Boston, MA; East Hartford, CT; Manchester, NH).

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required.
• 10 years of related experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the technical advancement of highway design projects and ensure technical accuracy.
• Provide day-to-day oversight of transportation planning and design projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Develop design criteria, alignments, construction plans, specs, and estimates.
• Collaborate with Project Leaders/Managers to deliver high-complexity projects.
• Review draft designs for compliance with regulations.
• Sign and seal engineering designs as required.
• Perform site reviews to align designs with location specs.
• Assist in proposals and respond to client RFPs.
