Job summary

Kokosing seeks a seasoned Construction Superintendent to supervise skilled trades on large Heavy Highway/Bridge projects in Morgantown, WV. You will lead Foremen, emphasize safety, and drive production and profitability while coordinating with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 6+ years of field management experience; bridge/highway work is a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 6+ years of field management experience in construction.
• Bridge/highway experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen to ensure safe, productive work with quality.
• Set a Safety 24/7 culture for the crews.
• Assist the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Oversee costs associated with work items and coordinate resources.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling, materials, and subcontractors.
