Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Foreman/Superintendent-level professional to supervise skilled trades on large Highway/Bridge construction projects. You will work with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to direct safety, production, and profitability while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

You will lead foremen, establish a 24/7 safety culture, assist with scheduling, and manage crew productivity and costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 6+ years of field management experience in construction.
• Bridge/Highway project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Foremen on safe, productive, and quality work.
• Set a 24/7 safety culture for crews.
• Assist the Project Manager in creating the project schedule.
• Develop 90-day and 3-week schedules for crews.
• Conduct pre-planning and goal setting with crews.
• Oversee costs for work items.
• Coordinate manpower, heavy equipment, tooling and materials.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors.
