Job summary

Kokosing, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to supervise skilled trades and manage onsite construction activities for large Heavy Highway/roadway/Bridge projects. You will collaborate with the Operations Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineers to direct safety, production, and profitability.

Responsibilities include planning, directing work, appraising performance, and interviewing/training employees as needed. Strong communication and scheduling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field.
• 6+ years of field construction management experience.
• Roadway/Highway experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage foremen to supervise safe, productive work.
• Set a 24/7 safety culture for crews.
• Assist PM in creating project schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, tools, materials and subcontractors.
