Job summary

Kendall Hunt Publishing is seeking a driven Publishing Solutions Representative to join our Higher Education sales team in Dubuque, IA. You will manage a pipeline of opportunities across disciplines, building relationships with professors to turn conversations into textbook adoptions.

You will receive ongoing training, work with faculty to understand needs, and close sales through calls, Zoom, and email while leveraging our digital/eBook solutions and support resources.

Qualifications

• A positive focus on customer experience and relationship-building.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with problem-solving mindset.
• Inside sales and/or customer service experience with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of Higher Education products to increase sales and adoptions.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop sales plans for each title based on sales history.
• Incentivize direct-to-student sales via Kendall Hunt website, with emphasis on digital eBook sales.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Attend conventions or national sales meetings to support sales of backlist titles.
• Meet with authors to understand edition progress and opportunities.
