Job summary

Wind Creek Wetumpka is seeking a Line Cook to prepare food items at various stations in a fast-paced kitchen. You will read orders, set up stations, and assemble dishes according to recipes while upholding quality and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of high-volume cooking experience required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and prep lists.
• Must pass Serve Safe sanitation training.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice and chop fruits, vegetables, cheeses, cooked meats, poultry and seafood.
• Prepare dressings, sauces, canapés, hors d’oeuvres and buffet items.
• Operate grill, broiler, ovens and steamers to prepare foods per recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
• Read and follow recipes and prep lists; rotate products.
