Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Line Cook to prepare menu items quickly and accurately across pantry, grill, broiler, sauté, and garde manger stations. You will set up line stations, assemble dishes from specifications, and maintain clean, organized areas to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires reading recipes, following standards, and adhering to sanitation policies. Candidates should be able to work in a dynamic, team-focused setting and handle physical demands of kitchen work.

Qualifications

• Must have high-volume cooking experience and be able to read recipes and prep lists in English.
• Must pass Serve Safe Sanitation training.
• Must be nineteen (19) years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Slice, dice and chop fruits, vegetables, cheeses, cooked meats, poultry and seafood.
• Use slicing machine, mixer and food processor per standard recipes.
• Handle meat, seafood, poultry and produce with proper sanitation.
• Follow recipes and rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Adhere to sanitation standards in kitchen.
• Operate grills, ovens, steamers and kettles as required.
• Taste and judge foods for quality and safety.
• Stay organized and communicate with team across shifts.
