Job summary

Sagchip is seeking a kitchen cook to support high-volume food production in a fast-paced environment. You will follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and ensure guests receive consistently presented dishes. The role requires teamwork with front and back of house and adherence to restaurant standards.

The position involves standing for long periods, flexible hours including weekends, and working in a kitchen with high volume and heat. Native American preference shall apply where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Six months of restaurant cooking experience with increasing levels of responsibility, or six months of SECR internal Culinary training.
• Must be able to pass background check to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.
• Must be able to attend annual ServSafe Food handler training classes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing high volumes of food following recipes.
• Maintain sanitation rules and regulations.
• Cook or heat food for assigned station; meet guest requests.
• Set up and tear down service line; stock products as needed.
• Prep food products for daily production and menu execution.
• Maintain proper food rotation and temperatures.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment; keep area neat and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
