Job summary

Sidelines Restaurant Group is hiring a line cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare, cook, and plate items according to recipes, portion standards, and safety guidelines while working to ensure quick ticket times and high quality.

Ideal candidates have prior professional kitchen experience, can multitask under pressure, and maintain a clean, organized station. We offer flexible scheduling, free employee meals, and opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen or line cook experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed during rushes.
• Food safety knowledge; ServSafe is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, team player; availability evenings and weekends.
• Physical stamina to stand for long hours and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook line items according to recipes, portion standards, and safety guidelines.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your station with ingredients, tools, and supplies before and during service.
• Cook and assemble items quickly during peak hours with quality control.
• Maintain clean, sanitary workspace and proper storage; end-of-shift procedures.
• Communicate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure timely tickets and guest satisfaction.
