Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking a hotel kitchen team member to prepare all food items for outlets based on standardized recipes and strict sanitation standards. The role involves operating large-volume cooking equipment, setting up mise en place, and maintaining quality consistency throughout service.

The position requires physical stamina, the ability to work in extreme temperatures, and adherence to safety policies. High school education and 2 years cooking experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must have excellent leadership capability and customer relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for customers using a quality predetermined method in a timely and consistent manner.
• Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipes, using variety of kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
• All other duties assigned by manager or supervisor.
• Supportive functions include assisting with guest inquiries and reporting maintenance problems.
