Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions in Prescott, AR is seeking a talented Dietary Cook for a nursing facility. You will prepare meals following standardized recipes, plate dishes with care, and support the Dietary Manager to ensure smooth meal prep and service in a high-volume kitchen.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Ability to prepare meals following standardized recipes.
• Experience in healthcare hospitality or nursing facilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation & Culinary Excellence: Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner following standardized recipes.
• Plating & Presentation: Plate and garnish all cooked items expertly to ensure an attractive menu presentation.
• Leadership Support: Act as a liaison for the Dietary Manager during their absence to ensure seamless meal prep and delivery.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Maintain high sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning the kitchen and all culinary equipment before and after food service.
• Inventory & Recipe Management: Manage inventory, handle stock rotation, assist with purchasing, and ensure recipe development and compliance.
• Special Events: Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for special events and facility functions.
