Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a talented Cook to join our dietary team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals following recipes while ensuring attractive plating and presentation for residents.

The role requires classically trained culinary skills with experience in high-volume operations and a commitment to sanitation. You will support the Dietary Manager during their absence, manage inventory, and handle special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with experience in high-volume culinary operations.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience in a healthcare or skilled nursing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and cook nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Plate and present dishes to ensure an appealing menu experience.
• Support dietary leadership during their absence to maintain meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation and cleanliness before and after service.
• Manage inventory, rotate stock, assist with purchasing, and help with recipes.
• Flexibly handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
