Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Dietary Cook for a nursing facility. The role focuses on preparing nutritious meals, following standardized recipes, and delivering high-quality plating and presentation in a high-volume setting.

The position requires classically trained culinary expertise, strong sanitation practices, and the ability to support the Dietary Manager in their absence. Evening and weekend availability are required, with full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• Classically trained cook with high-volume culinary operations experience.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately.
• Strong focus on kitchen sanitation and food safety.
• Experience with inventory management and basic recipe development.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation following standardized recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items to ensure attractive presentation.
• Assist Dietary Manager by serving as a liaison during their absence.
• Maintain high sanitation standards for kitchen and equipment.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and assist with purchasing and recipe updates.
• Flexibly handle last-minute requests for special events and facility functions.
