Job summary

Live Well Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Dietary Cook for a nursing facility. You will prepare and portion nutritious meals, plate dishes with care, and support the Dietary Manager when needed to ensure smooth meal service.

Responsibilities include strict sanitation, inventory management, and helping with recipe development. Occasional event catering may be required; candidates must be available every other weekend to cover shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or nursing facility kitchens is a plus.
• Must be able to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, portion, and cook meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Plate and garnish cooked items for attractive presentation.
• Support Dietary Manager during absences to ensure meal prep and delivery.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation before and after service.
• Manage inventory, stock rotation, and recipe development/compliance.
• Handle last-minute culinary requests for events and facility functions.
