Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is launching two new destinations at Hotel Cala in Tampa. The team is building opening staffing for LAVO and BarOnda, delivering coastal Italian dining and vibrant lounge experiences on the Riverwalk.

This role involves active guest interaction, precise beverage and food service, and adherence to health and safety standards. Ideal candidates have prior hospitality experience, especially in cocktail or floor service, and can thrive in a fast-paced, guest‑centric environment.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Experience as cocktail or floor server preferred.
• Experience in high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate and accommodate all needs of the guests.
• Provides professional and exceptional service.
• Presents menus, answers questions, and makes suggestions for all beverage and food items.
• Inform guests of all food and beverage specials, with prices.
• Required to solicit any allergy or dietary restrictions from each guest and communicate to the kitchen.
• Accurately enters all orders into the POS system.
• Delivers all food and beverages to guests.
• Maintains general cleanliness of assigned stations and the entire venue.
• Reports breakage or damage of equipment or furniture to management.
• Follows supervisor’s instructions and works as part of a team.
