Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is opening two new venues at Hotel Cala in Tampa, with LAVO and BarOnda, and is building opening teams now. The host position greets guests, guides seating, and coordinates with the Maitre’D to ensure a smooth flow and gracious hospitality.

Experience in hospitality and working in high-volume settings is preferred; strong communication, dependability, and teamwork are essential as you help set the tone for guest experiences at the venue.

Qualifications

• Previous host experience preferred.
• Previous hospitality experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and guides to appropriate table as directed by the Maitre’D.
• Acts as front desk liaison for reservations and seating.
• Maintains cleanliness of entrance area and keeps menus organized.
• Attends pre-service meetings and participates in trainings.
• Works as part of a team to support fellow staff and guests.
