Job summary

Nobel Women in Vernon, CA is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This role offers a contract-to-hire path and pays $23–$25 per hour.

You will handle invoices, PO matching, vendor statements, and month-end close tasks while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel is expected, along with strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way match).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit memos.
• Maintain organized AP files and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Communicate with internal departments and vendors regarding invoice or payment issues.
• Support month-end AP closing tasks as needed.
