Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead high-voltage transmission line and substation construction projects. You’ll manage from pre-construction through closeout, ensure safety, quality, schedule adherence, and client satisfaction while coordinating with field leadership, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.

Open to candidates with PM-type skills from legal/finance backgrounds; training is available.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in transmission and/or substation construction.
• Proven experience managing utility-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage construction methods, sequencing, and safety requirements.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution from award through final turnover.
• Oversee pre-construction planning, scheduling, procurement, and closeout.
• Partner with field teams to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality construction.
• Manage budgets, costs, and change orders; monitor project performance.
• Lead client meetings, status reporting, and scope-change management.
