Job summary

Culbertson Resources Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead high voltage substation and transmission initiatives from planning through completion in Spring, TX. You will oversee project teams, schedules, budgets, contracts, and client communications in an EPC setting.

The role requires 10+ years of PM experience in HV substations or transmission, a PMP or equivalent certification, and strong budgeting, scheduling, and leadership skills. MBA and PE are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of project management experience in HV substation or transmission in an EPC environment.
• PMP or similar project management certification is required.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, risks, and contract administration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and other project teams.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, resources, and risks.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve issues affecting scope, schedule, cost, or delivery.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance on projects.
• Provide project updates and contribute to PM process improvements.

Location: Spring, TX

Travel: Occasional travel to project sites

We’re seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead high voltage substation and transmission projects from planning through completion. This role oversees project teams, schedules, budgets, contracts, and client communication in an EPC environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of substation and transmission projects, keeping work aligned with scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, and other project teams.
• Manage budgets, cost forecasts, schedules, resources, and project risks.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve issues affecting scope, schedule, cost, or project delivery.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide project updates and contribute to improvements in project management practices.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant project management experience, including significant high voltage substation and/or transmission line experience in an EPC environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Project Management, or Construction Management; equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
• PMP or similar project management certification required.
• Strong experience with project budgets, scheduling, risk management, and contract administration.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Primavera and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• MBA or PE license preferred.
