Job summary

EDF power solutions North America oversees the operation, maintenance, repair, and training of BOP and HV equipment for wind, solar, and storage projects across North America. The role provides technical support to owned and third-party assets and guides site specialists in safe, cost-effective HV operations.

The successful candidate will bring 6+ years in HV systems, relevant certifications, and strong leadership to drive compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and NERC procedures while collaborating

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in high voltage systems and substations or a P.E. in Electrical Engineering accepted in lieu of experience.
• Formal apprenticeship program or equivalent technical training required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train site personnel in safe work practices and battery testing; ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support HV maintenance and troubleshooting across the US, Canada, and Mexico; ensure compliance with codes and company objectives.
• Review maintenance and repair reports; ensure documentation meets scope and regulatory requirements.
• Be on-site during planned outages to support substation maintenance and repairs and coordinate contractors.
