Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks a High Voltage Specialist to oversee BOP and HV electrical equipment across wind, solar, and storage projects. You will guide site teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and provide technical direction for outages and maintenance.

The role requires 6+ years in HV substations, NEC knowledge, and the ability to travel across North America. Opportunities include mentoring, budgeting support, and cross‑site coordination within EDF power solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in high voltage systems and substations, with electrical documentation and drawings.
• PE license accepted in lieu of experience or equivalent.
• Formal apprenticeship or equivalent training completed.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, train, and supervise site personnel on safe work practices for BOP and HV equipment.
• Support US/Canada/Mexico projects in HV maintenance and troubleshooting while complying with codes.
• Review test reports and ensure documentation aligns with scope and regulatory requirements.
