Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Power Systems or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical education and experience.
• Experience in electrical testing and commissioning of high-voltage equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA requirements for high-voltage work.
• Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and test procedures with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for HV substations.
• Perform testing and energization for transformers, GIS, breakers, relays, SCADA, and control panels.
• Conduct functional tests, point-to-point checks, and system integration activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project milestones.
• Maintain commissioning documentation and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE/NERC/OSHA requirements.
