Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs seeks an Instructional Aide II to join our special education team working with High School students. You will deliver personalized support, implement individualized strategies, and collaborate with teachers to foster student success in classroom and community settings.

Responsibilities include behavioral interventions, progress documentation, data collection, and hands‑on vocational coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field.
• CA Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit within 90 days of starting.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain crisis management certification.
• Willingness to drive a company van and transport students.
• Minimum 3 years prior instruction/support experience with children; preferably in special education or behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized support and guidance to High School students.
• Implement individualized strategies aligned with IEP/ITP/PBIP.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance classroom effectiveness.
• Document student behaviors and progress with confidentiality.
• Assist with vocational training and job coaching on campus and community sites.
