Job summary

Greystar in San Francisco is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds and amenities, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will handle work orders, preventive maintenance, and inspections, coordinating with vendors and reporting issues to management.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of general maintenance experience, EPA refrigerant certifications, and a valid driver’s license to operate golf carts on-site.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years Must have a basic knowledge of general maintenance and repair.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on the property size, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory.
• Completes documentation to document and track service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing parts rather than replacing when possible.
