Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Service Technician to perform maintenance, safety, and general upkeep of high-rise properties. You will diagnose and repair issues, complete move-ins and make-ready tasks, and document work in a timely manner.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses as required, and a valid driver’s license for on-site vehicle use. Flexible hours and on-call rotation are included.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and local certifications as required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate on-site golf carts where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance following policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing, including inspections and scheduling.
• Manages materials and tools from the maintenance department to ensure proper inventory and reordering.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
