Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical maintenance across the property’s buildings, grounds, and common areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Responsibilities include handling work orders, make-ready processes, inventory tracking, and documentation.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, and 1–2 years of maintenance experience. Schedule: Tue–Sat, 9am–6pm; base compensation is hourly with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.
• Experience in completing work orders and preventative maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready tasks for vacant units and prepare for leasing; manage punch lists and vendor coordination.
• Track inventory and access materials from maintenance department; report reorders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assist in groundskeeping and general cleaning of common areas and amenities.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
