Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Los Angeles, CA to maintain the property’s buildings, grounds, and amenities to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Requirements include 1–2 years of maintenance experience; High Rise experience preferred, and EPA certifications for refrigerants. A valid driver’s license is also required for on-site operations. The role includes a housing discount and robust benefits as part of onsite team compensation.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Maintenance experience; High Rise experience preferred.
• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant work.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Performs make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch lists, and scheduling vendors.
• Manages inventory by tracking materials, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests in a timely, accurate manner for tracking and records.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; cleans, paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by fixing parts rather than replacing when possible and using tools properly.
