Job summary

Eaton Group is seeking a Mission Critical Material Controller - Warehouse in Sumter, SC. Shift runs 6am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with an hourly rate of 19.25. Eligible for a variable incentive program based on performance and business considerations.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating cycle counts, and supporting production with timely material handling while upholding Eaton quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or operations experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, warehouse, material handling or related field
• Current or prior certification in operation of forklifts used to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Sumter facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments from external vendors and complete transactions in Eaton systems to maintain accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment.
• Coordinate cycle count functions in the storeroom and analyze counts for accuracy, resolving errors by researching transactions.
• Support production line requirements and prepare paperwork for shipments and invoicing.
• Pack, label, and stage materials for shipment and ensure quality controls are followed.
• Maintain 5S standards and contribute to Lean initiatives and process improvements.
