Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is hiring a Material Handler - Back Storeroom in Sumter, SC. Monday–Friday, 5am–1:30pm, with an hourly rate of $17.50. The role involves material allocation, planning, receiving, and shipping in the front or back storeroom to support production.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts/cranes, performing cycle counts, and ensuring accurate documentation and labeling. Associates will work under safety guidelines and strive for continuous improvement in materials

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution.
Forklift and/or crane experience to transport and locate equipment.
Broad range of knowledge in materials planning, scheduling, receiving, shipping, and tracking systems.
Sumter, SC area within 50 miles eligibility restriction.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials.
Receive, document, store, stage and issue all job-related material to support production.
Support assembly and fabrication requirements for materials as needed.
Package and label equipment, parts, and materials for shipment or staging.
Adhere to 5S standards and participate in safety and quality checks.
