Job summary

Eaton seeks a Steel Kitter at our Sumter, SC facility. The role runs Monday-Thursday from 5am to 3pm with an hourly rate of 16.00/hr and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

This production position supports material handling, receiving, shipping, and warehouse readiness to enable timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities include cycle counting, forklift/crane operation, material receiving and issuing, and assisting with assembly, packaging, labeling, and quality checks while upholding

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Sumter SC; no relocation benefits.
• Position requires forklift and/or crane operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and cranes to transport and locate equipment and materials.
• Receive, document, store, stage and issue materials to satisfy production requirements.
• Support assembly and fabrication requirements for materials as needed.
• Package and label equipment, parts, materials, products and accessories for shipment.
• Perform quality checks and lean improvements to enhance processes.
