Job summary

Steelhead Technologies in Michigan is seeking a Business Development Representative to be the first point of contact with prospective customers. You’ll perform high-volume outreach across calls, emails, and social channels, qualify prospects, and book meetings that move deals forward.

This role offers exposure to the full spectrum of business operations, growth into Account Executive roles, hands-on coaching, and a collaborative culture. Prior SaaS or manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of sales or business development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable with outbound outreach, live calls, and discovery conversations.
• Resilient, motivated, and thrives in a high-activity environment.
• Strong cold calling mindset and persistence.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage job shop manufacturers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels
• Qualify leads and set meetings for the sales team
• Build relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-up
• Run discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points
• Keep CRM records clean and accurate
• Hit and exceed weekly and monthly outreach goals
