Job summary

Steelhead Technologies Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to be the first point of contact with prospective customers. You will perform high-volume outreach, qualify prospects, and book meetings to move deals forward.

This role offers exposure to the full spectrum of business operations and opportunities for rapid career growth. With 0–2 years of sales or BDR experience, you’ll excel in outbound calls, discovery conversations, and CRM hygiene.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or business development (SaaS or manufacturing a plus).
• Comfortable running outreach, live calls, and discovery conversations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Resilient, motivated, and comfortable working in a high-activity environment.
• Strong cold calling mindset — not afraid to pick up the phone.
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage job shop manufacturers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels.
• Qualify leads and set meetings for the sales team.
• Build relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-up.
• Run discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points.
• Keep CRM records clean and accurate.
• Hit and exceed weekly and monthly outreach goals.
