Job summary

Steelhead Technologies is seeking a driven BDR to be the first point of contact for prospective customers in the manufacturing ERP space. You will conduct high-volume outreach via calls, emails, and social channels, qualify prospects, and book meetings that move deals forward.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or business development (SaaS or manufacturing a plus).
• Comfortable running outreach, live calls, and discovery conversations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Resilient, motivated, and comfortable working in a high-activity environment.
• Strong cold calling mindset — not afraid to pick up the phone.
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and engage job shop manufacturers through outbound calls, emails, and social channels.
• Qualify leads and set meetings for the sales team.
• Build relationships through consistent, value-driven follow-up.
• Run discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points.
• Keep CRM records clean and accurate.
• Hit and exceed weekly and monthly outreach goals.
