Benihana Indianapolis is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as hibachi chefs. You will engage guests, perform cooking shows at the table, and ensure a memorable dining experience while preparing hot meals in front of guests.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and is ideal for those who have prior chef or cook experience. Training is provided, and full-time staff receive comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, a 401(k), paid time off, and onsite dining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must successfully pass Benihana chef training program.
• Previous chef or cook experience highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and welcomes within 15 minutes of teppan order.
• Performs a teppanyaki cooking show and interacts with guests.
• Prepares and seasons meats, seafood, vegetables for cooking.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and hibachi tables per procedures.
• Ensures portions meet company standards and hygiene policies.
